Since graduating magna cum laude with a theatre degree from Brooklyn College, Marina Re has been a working professional actor in AEA, SAG and AFTRA for three decades.
She started her career in Boston as a member of the Boston Shakespeare Company, the Merrimack Repertory Company and as a member of Shear Madness at the Charles Playhouse. She spent seven seasons with Israel Horovitz's Gloucester Stage Company, in addition to working at all the major theatre in the area including the Huntington Theatre, the Lyric Stage, Worcester Foothills and the Jewish Theatre of New England. For ten consecutive years, her performances were cited "Best of Year" by Boston critics, being named "Favorite Local Actor" by the Boston Phoenix in 1996.
Since returning to New York City, she has performed at many regional theaters throughout the country, including Florida Studio Theatre, Centre Stage, Two River Theatre, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Vineyard Playhouse and Public Theatre of Maine, to name a few. She has toured the USA with the Tony Award-winning National Theatre of the Deaf, earned an Irne Award nomination and performed in many Off Broadway venues. She's done both feature and independent films, national and local TV shows, industrial videos and many voiceovers and commercials.
It is her sincere wish that she can continue to perform for another three decades.
